Michael Clark
Senior Vice President
PI Encorp LLC
As Senior Vice President of PI Encorp LLC, Mr. Clark is responsible for all aspects of the company's operation. Under his leadership, PI Encorp LLC successfully overcame a financially distressed condition and was recognized by industry publications for its outstanding achievement. Over a 3-year growth period, Mr. Clark strategically repositioned the firm as a technology leader in the micro grid and renewable energy sectors.
At Encorp, Inc., from 2000-06, Mr. Clark served as Senior Vice President and Vice President, Marketing. During his tenure, Encorp, Inc. raised $40 million from leading energy-technology venture capital firms.
Before joining Encorp, Inc., Mr. Clark successfully held full P&L responsibility for the $120 million global OEM business unit of Thomas & Betts Corp., a $2.5 billion multinational electrical manufacturer. He subsequently led all marketing activities for the firm's $500 million industrial division, including direct involvement with selected M&A efforts.
Mr. Clark served as a corporate officer for IEM, Inc., a Silicon Valley-based electrical manufacturer during that company's successful emergence from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and subsequent $80 million+ growth phase. He helped secure a $17 million debt facility to support this turnaround. Mr. Clark began his career with Westinghouse Electric Corp. in engineering, technical sales and marketing assignments across the country.
He currently serves on the board of the Northern Colorado Clean Energy Cluster, is a tenured committee member for the Power-Gen International Conference and is active in other energy sector-related events.
Mr. Clark holds a master of business administration degree from the University of Michigan and a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from the University of Toledo.
Scott Kolek

As Commercial Operations Director of PI Encorp LLC, Mr. Kolek drives new business opportunities that leverage the company's Generator Power Control -- or "Gold Box" -- technology.
He has 20+ years of technical and business experience in the areas of management, marketing, sales, risk management and product development. Throughout his career, he has led the product design and introduction of electrical equipment and control systems for power generation and distribution.
For the past eight years, he held various technical, product management and operations positions for General Electric (GE) in Chicago. Most recently, he served as the Global Product Line Manager for GE Zenith Controls where he was responsible for the complete product lifecycle management of $120M product lines.
Prior to GE, Kolek worked with Cummins Power Generation for 10 years in various design and engineering management positions worldwide.
Kolek holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota.
